Spicy Soup With Tender Beef and Vegetables
March 26th, 2010If ever you find your self in the middle of ho chi min city, the red square or piccadilly and you are feeling very hungry, this is the perfect snack for you
Ingredients:
- Steam boat (a pot will be just as fine)
- Beef stock spiced with some chillies
- Okra cut into thin slices
- Taro leaves finely sliced
- Chinese black mushrooms
- Beef fillet in thin slices
- Pineapple cut into cubes
- Cumin plant leaves
Add the vegetables and the cumin leaves into the hot stock then you put the mushrooms in, the pineapple and the beef, cover with lid on and simmer for about 8 minutes.
